The only certainty in the market is your risk. It doesn't matter what your targets r, of course your r needs to be within that point in time. a 1:1.5 r works well. Regarding the reverse engineering, you will try your best to fix something that has potential upside. It's all about milking as much as you can in the markets with good margin of entry.
