From what I’ve researched, it’s generally best to match your VPS location with your broker’s trading server to keep latency as low as possible and reduce slippage. For instance, FP Markets and IC Markets host their servers in New York, so using a New York–based VPS should give better execution speed. I’m planning to switch to a New York VPS next week and will test to see if this improves slippage and overall trade execution.It could be a lot of factors at this point.Also some traders suggest it's always best to choose a vps that's either within your country/region or close to,picking a vps that's too far can also be an issue.
